Custom RV faceplates

Upgrade the part—not the whole wall.

Replacement RV controls almost never share the footprint of the factory part. A custom retrofit plate covers the old opening and gives the new thermostat, stereo, switch bank, or display a finished place to mount.

Built around the mismatch

When the replacement is smaller, shaped differently, or mounts wrong.

Obsolete RV parts leave owners choosing between a rough patch, a larger renovation, or a generic cover that still does not line up. RCC works from the opening you have and the replacement part you chose.

  • Thermostat replacement trim plates
  • RV stereo and radio adapter plates
  • Switch-bank and accessory faceplates
  • Control display and monitor bezels
  • Blank-off plates for deleted equipment

What to send

A few accurate details beat a lot of guessing.

Opening

Overall width and height, depth behind the surface, mounting-hole locations, and any uneven or damaged edges the plate must cover.

Replacement

Brand and model, required cutout, face dimensions, mounting pattern, connector clearance, and a link to the manufacturer's drawing if available.

Photos

One straight-on view, one side-angle view, and one photo with a ruler or tape visible. More context makes the first proof more accurate.

Ordering

Designed once. Checked before cutting.

After reviewing your measurements, RCC confirms whether the project is a good fit, recommends a material and edge treatment, and sends a proof with the quote.

01

Send the problem

Use the custom request form and explain what came out, what is going in, and what needs covering.

02

Review the proof

Check the outside dimensions, new cutout, hole pattern, orientation, and finish before approving the design.

03

Finish the upgrade

The completed nonstructural plate ships to you for installation with the replacement equipment.

RV retrofit FAQ

Before you measure twice.

Can you copy the original woodgrain or wall finish?

Exact color and grain matches are not guaranteed. RCC will discuss practical material and finish choices that make the new plate look intentional in the space.

Can the plate hold switches, USB ports, or a thermostat?

Often, yes, when the part is suitable for panel mounting and there is enough room behind the surface. Send the manufacturer dimensions so the layout can be checked.

Will RCC wire or install the equipment?

No. RCC supplies the custom nonstructural plate. Electrical work and installation remain the customer's responsibility and should be handled by a qualified person when appropriate.
